How to import FAT course content into Canvas

You will receive a CDX email containing a link to a website from which you must download the Canvas course files required. Each file displayed on this webpage represents a unique course which will require a corresponding course shell to be created within your Canvas environment.

Proceed by clicking on each file to download them to a designated location on your computer.

After downloading the course files from this site, launch your applicable Canvas course and click on ‘Add existing content’ or ‘Settings,’ then select the ‘Import Course Content’ option to import the Canvas Course Export Package from its saved location on your computer.

Once completed, you will find that all course resources have been uploaded to your course shell and are ready to use.
